Establishment of Office of Systems and Network Administrator(SNA)

Office of the System and Network Administrator was established in 2004 in most of the districts of the Punjab where as office of the same was established in Lodhran in June, 2005. The SNAs throughout the Punjab were engaged against a Project named as “Punjab Intranet” in October, 2004 by Secretary Information Technology, Government of the Punjab. After installation phase of the same project, new seats at district level were created in 2006-07 through SNE to work under the supervision of concerned District Coordination Officer(DCO).

Basic Function of System/Network Administrator at District Level

Responsible for managing, configuring  and troubleshooting of systems installed at all sites of the district.

Responsible to handle the service like Active Directory Deployment, Exchange Server configuration / management etc.
